My Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and other team members to implement features and resolve issues.
- Create and manage database schemas and models.
- Implement server-side logic, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Design, optimize, and maintain the application’s database structure.
- Write efficient database queries and manage data migrations.
- Identify, evaluate, and select external APIs that meet the application’s requirements.
- Integrate third-party APIs seamlessly into the Laravel application.
- Implement API endpoints, request handling, and data parsing.
- Implement security best practices, including data validation, input sanitization, and protection against common web vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF).
- Perform code reviews to maintain codebase consistency and quality.
- Use version control systems like Git to manage codebase changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
